Summary of Experience
I have been leading teams and creating interactive art since 1994. Over the years I’ve been involved in a wide variety of projects, filling several roles in the process. My professional experience includes running my own post effects business, working as an art director in advertising and being an independent contractor.
In 2006 I joined the game industry full time. Since then I have shipped over nine AAA titles.
The types of games I have been an artist on range from FPS to turn based strategy for the PC, Xbox One, PS4, 360 and ps3. In addition to game industry projects, have created kiosks, motion graphics for TV, product visualization, as well as interactive activities for the Internet.
My 3D career started back when the only way to create professional quality visuals was on the SGI, a UNIX based computer, which was very specialized and expensive. This long industry history provides me with a deep list of tools and techniques including the ability to work in a digital or traditional medium.
I thrive on being flexible to changing situations and adapting to various work environments. I am able to perform equally well in a leadership role or support function, whether working independently or interacting with others. My experience on both sides of outsourcing has earned me invaluable skills for getting large projects done in a short time frame. Building a strong rapport and profitable relationship with clients gives me a proven ability to interact professionally on all levels.
